Does anyone know any easy step by step hairstyles?

Ok, so I have long, straight, layered, dirty blond hair with a side swept bang.


I wanna know easy hairstyles that stand out, but at the same time fit in. I usually just wear it in a ponytail/bun, or down.


So does anyone know any cool hairstyles I could try??

This hairstyle is one I recommended to a girl looking for a style like Blake Lively's:


I'd recommend some Paul Mitchell Quick Slip as a nice styling cream. Work it in while your hair is damp.


Blow dry your hair upside down to give it some fullness. Then, clip all your hair up, except a 1'; section at the base of your neck. Work a 1 1/2'; barrel curling iron through narrow sections, curling all the way to your scalp. Continue to do this, taking 1'; sections down at a time, until all your hair is curled.


Work your fingers through with a product like CHI Twisted Fabric. It will add shine and definition to the style. Do not worry if the curls look too tight at first. You always want them to be a little tighter in the beginning, so that when they soften/loosen up, they'll be just right.


Finish off with a light/medium hold hairspray, such as Paul Mitchell Super Clean Spray.
